Dr. S. Thenmozhi, M.A., Ph.D., RCS

Dr. S. Thenmozhi is a renowned psychologist, academician, and clinical supervisor with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and counselling. Trained in the USA and a Washington State Registered Clinical Supervisor, she has guided numerous postgraduate and doctoral scholars and led national and international mental health projects.
She is the founder of Srishti School of Excellence, formerly known as Srishti Special School, which was established in loving memory of her daughter, Arthi Sruthi.
She serves as Dean of the Madras University Alumni Association, Member Secretary of the Institutional Ethics Committee, and Managing Trustee & Honorary Director of Srishti Special School.
A recipient of multiple prestigious awards including Best Institution Award (2014) and International Esteemed Women Professor Award (2021), Dr. Thenmozhi has authored six books and contributed widely to the field of Counselling Psychology through her research, lectures, and community initiatives.
