Established in October 2002 in memory of their daughter Aarthi @ Shruthi, and registered in February 2003, Aarthi Shruthi Memorable Trust is dedicated to fostering Positive Mental Health in children and adolescents. In June 2003, the Trust began its journey with Srishti Special School, starting with 17 children. By 2006, the school was officially recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the State Commissioner for the Disabled, Chennai.

Our approach is rooted in the Montessori method, which naturally complements our inclusive model. In our prepared, child-led environments, students engage in hands-on, self-directed learning. Instead of a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum, we tailor the educational journey to each child’s unique strengths and pace. This allows neurodiverse students to receive specialized support while neurotypical peers develop empathy, leadership, and a deep appreciation for different ways of thinking.
